What's the main thing you want people to understand about how you handle health and safety on a project?
Health and safety is there for a very good reason, and rightly so. However, I believe that it needs to be flexible enough for you to achieve your job and not restrict it. My focus is on practical, adaptable safety solutions.
At the end of the day we all deserve the right to go home in one piece and not get hurt.
Who typically needs your health and safety services the most?
I am looking to help smaller companies with specific RAMs or audits for work that the owners or stakeholders don't have time for during their normal working day.
What common health and safety worries or problems do your clients have, and how do you help them?
Many clients worry about navigating complex regulations, ensuring compliance without impacting project timelines, or handling specific high-risk tasks. I have frequently liaised with Insurance companies and Building control to ensure that what is built complies on multiple levels as well as ensuring projects are built in a manner that complies with current CDM (Construction Design Management) Regulations.
What makes your approach to health and safety stand out from others?
My approach is based on practicality and flexibility. I don't want to just impose rules; I would like to integrate safety solutions that are tailored to your specific project needs, ensuring compliance without hindering progress.
Can you assist with health and safety for steel-framed building projects?
My expertise in project managing steel-framed buildings extends to ensuring all health and safety requirements are met from concept to completion. I can look after coordinating the contractors RAMs handle site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance to ensure a safe working environment for all involved.
Do you offer ongoing health and safety support?
In the long term I am looking to build relationships with contractors and end users, to that end I will help where I can.
